Princess Dr. Margaret Itake Elayo, Nasarawa State Commissioner for Mining, has celebrated her Personal Assistant on Media, Ibrahim Abdul, on his birthday, describing him as more than an aide but a son whose dedication, passion and commitment to journalism have made him an invaluable member of her team.
In a heartfelt birthday message, the Commissioner expressed joy at witnessing Ibrahim add another year to his life, noting that the occasion offered an opportunity to celebrate not only his birthday but also the special bond they share.
She described Ibrahim as a hardworking and dedicated journalist whose passion for his profession continues to distinguish him in the field of media.
According to Princess Elayo, Ibrahim’s approach to reporting often leaves her pleasantly surprised, especially when he publishes stories about her activities and achievements.
“Sometimes, when he publishes news about me, I find myself wondering when I ever said that,” she said humorously, highlighting his creative approach to storytelling.
The Commissioner praised his ability to capture important moments and communicate the activities of the ministry to the public in engaging and impactful ways.
She also acknowledged his contributions to investigative reporting, particularly his efforts in exposing certain mischievous activities allegedly taking place at some mining sites in the state.

According to her, Ibrahim’s reports have helped draw attention to developments and challenges within the mining sector while promoting public awareness of the ministry’s activities.
“Without Ibrahim’s efforts, I doubt the public would fully appreciate the strides we are making at the Ministry of Mining,” she stated.
Beyond his professional contributions, Princess Elayo spoke warmly about Ibrahim’s place in her life, describing their relationship as one built on trust, affection and a bond that extends beyond the workplace.
She acknowledged his occasional stubbornness and playful antics but maintained that such qualities had done little to diminish her appreciation of him.
“Despite his occasional stubbornness and playful antics, I would never let him go. His commitment is rare and invaluable to our mission,” she said.
The Commissioner further noted that every public officeholder would be fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate media professional like Ibrahim working alongside them.
Expressing her gratitude for having him on her team, Princess Elayo described herself as fortunate to work with a journalist whose professional skills and commitment continue to support the ministry’s communication efforts.
On behalf of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Mining, Princess Dr. Margaret Itake Elayo wished Ibrahim Abdul a happy birthday, good health, greater achievements and many more fulfilling years ahead.
For Princess Elayo, the celebration was more than a birthday tribute to a media aide. It was a heartfelt expression of appreciation for a young man she proudly regards as her son and a valued partner in advancing the ministry’s mission.
