The Youth Leader of the Yari Legacy Movement, Bayelsa State Chapter, Mr. Yenesomezeni Morning Wonkoya, has called on the good people of Bayelsa State and Nigerians at large to rally behind and re-elect His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Mr. Wonkoya made the call on behalf of the Founder and Principal of the Yari Legacy Movement, His Excellency, Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari, former Governor of Zamfara State, during an interaction with stakeholders of the movement in Yenagoa.
According to him, the call for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is borne out of the visible reforms, bold economic decisions and infrastructural drive being undertaken by the present administration to reposition the country for sustainable growth and development.
He noted that despite the initial challenges that came with the reforms, the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu is already yielding positive results in the areas of infrastructure, security, youth empowerment, and economic stabilization, adding that continuity is needed to consolidate on the gains recorded so far.
“On behalf of Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari and the entire Yari Legacy Movement, Bayelsa State Chapter, I am appealing to Bayelsans and Nigerians across the six geo-political zones to continue to support and re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“President Tinubu has demonstrated uncommon courage, capacity and commitment to build a new Nigeria. What he needs now is our collective support and prayers to finish the good work he has started,” Wonkoya stated.
He further described Senator Yari as a patriotic Nigerian and a loyal party man whose legacy movement across the country remains committed to the unity, progress and victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels.
Mr. Wonkoya urged youths in Bayelsa State to shun divisive politics and to mobilize massively for the re-election of President Tinubu, assuring that the youth constituency will be better accommodated in the second term of the administration.
He concluded by calling for unity among APC members and supporters of the Yari Legacy Movement in Bayelsa and across the nation to work as one family for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
