The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders.
Under the new postings, Johnson A. Doghudje has been assigned to Zone 5 as Police Public Relations Officer and can be reached on 08038773657, while Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, with the contact number 09152481510.
Orchia Adndongu has been posted to the Benue State Police Command and can be reached on 07013495466, while Imah Unwana Victor has been assigned to the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), with the contact number 08038281577.
Similarly, Abdulaziz Maharazu has been posted to the Police Academy (POLAC) and can be reached on 07064684936. Yusuf Adamu Aliyu has been assigned to the Yobe State Police Command, with the contact number 08136394230.
Haruna Rashid Umar Abdullahi has also been posted as Public Relations Liaison Officer for the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Gombe State and can be reached on 08130313033.
The Inspector-General of Police charged the newly posted officers to uphold professionalism, responsiveness and accuracy in the discharge of their duties.
He also urged them to ensure the timely dissemination of verified information and sustain constructive engagement with members of the public and the media.
