1st ROK Entertainment UK is set to host the third edition of its cultural showcase, Ankara Fiesta 2027, as part of efforts to promote Nigerian culture, fashion, music, art and creativity on the global stage.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, from 5:00 p.m. till late, with guests expected to experience an all-night celebration of Nigerian culture and entertainment.
Organisers said the 2027 edition would be bigger and more internationally focused, bringing together fashion enthusiasts, musicians, comedians, DJs, entrepreneurs, creatives, brands and members of the diaspora community.
The fiesta will feature a fashion runway showcasing innovative Ankara designs, live music performances, DJ sessions, comedy, exhibitions, shopping, food, drinks and networking opportunities.
A major highlight of the event will be the Ankara Showcase, where guests and participants will display their unique and stylish Ankara outfits in celebration of creativity, identity and individuality.
According to the organisers, Ankara Fiesta is not merely an entertainment event but a cultural campaign designed to promote Nigerian identity, style, cuisine, creativity and art while creating opportunities for global acceptance, appreciation and commercialisation of the country’s cultural heritage.
They called on brands, corporate organisations, government agencies, tourism bodies, fashion stakeholders and members of the Nigerian diaspora to partner with the initiative in promoting Made-in-Nigeria products and the country’s creative economy.
The organisers said such partnerships would provide opportunities for brand visibility, cultural diplomacy, networking and investment in Nigeria’s growing creative industry.
The event is being organised by UK-based Nigerian DJs, DJ Jossy Ladd, DJ KC and DJ Andy.
The dress code for the event is stylish Ankara.
